Membership Committee Report – New Practitioner Support Group

Our first FSOMA New Practitioner Support Group meeting was a great success! The discussion was lively, with new Acupuncture Physicians sharing experiences, asking questions and learning some practical ideas about building a successful practice. One of the greatest benefits was connecting with colleagues who understand the unique challenges of those first years in practice. You do not have to be a member to participate.

If you’re a new practitioner, we encourage you to join us at the 2026 FSOMA Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Conference. Since Florida only requires HIV and medical errors during your first biennium of licensure, this is the perfect time to attend for a much lower price. You can take advantage of the Exhibit Hall, attend the lectures, network with experienced practitioners, and experience the energy of Florida’s acupuncture community.  Go to https://fsoma.org/fsomacon today.

To sign up and participate in the support groups go to https://fsoma.org/np-support-group

We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to build relationships, ask questions, and discover the many benefits of being part of FSOMA. We look forward to welcoming you!
