SUMMARY:Dong Fuhui\, Flat Needle Class
DESCRIPTION:FL CEU 24\n30 in class maximum\, based on payment date \n“I can’t speak highly enough of Dong Fuihai\,” said FAA President Chunyan Wang as she shared information about this class with me. “I learned his method while I was in school\, and I’ve been using it successfully in my practice for the past ten years. Most of the leading Chinese doctors use his technique\, and it can be highly effective—even when using a regular acupuncture needle.”\nThis three-day advanced course focuses on the assessment\, differential diagnosis\, and treatment of musculoskeletal and soft tissue disorders using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)\, biomechanics\, and minimally invasive flat needle techniques. Day 1: Covers the classification and biomechanics of muscle\, tendon\, fascia\, and ligament injuries\, with emphasis on neck\, shoulder\, chest\, and back disorders\, clinical assessment\, and treatment principles. Day 2: Focuses on anatomical dissection\, palpation\, and hands-on training for shoulder and elbow conditions\, including bursitis\, rotator cuff tendinopathy\, biceps tenosynovitis\, tennis elbow\, and golfer’s elbow. Safe flat needle techniques and anatomical localization are emphasized. Day 3: Covers dynamic palpation\, the Instantaneous Center of Rotation (ICR)\, and assessment of common knee disorders\, including ligament injuries\, Baker’s cyst\, bursitis\, patellar tendinopathy\, and degenerative knee conditions. Conservative management and rehabilitation strategies are discussed. Teaching methods include lectures\, anatomical demonstrations\, supervised hands-on practice\, and clinical case discussions to enhance diagnostic skills\, treatment planning\, and patient safety. \nFor Chunyan\, sharing this knowledge is also about strengthening the profession. “It helps the whole acupuncture profession when everyone is successful\,” she said.   Because of her passion for sharing this powerful technique Chunyan is offering that if you want to observe this technique you can text her 813-327-0116 or email her to arrange to watch the flat needle technique at her office. \nAnd she especially wants non-Chinese-speaking practitioners to know they are welcome and encouraged to attend. Real-time English translation will be provided through a Zoom room during the class. Attendees will simply need to bring their own phone and earphones to listen to the translation while participating in the live class. \nRead More About Dong Fuhai and the Class Here \nThese three days are continuous learning\, and all three days must be attended simultaneously. 9am to 6pm\, with a one-hour lunch in between \n\nNew to the system – Full Price $1238\n\nearly bird price before 10-10-2026 $990\, FAA & FSOMA members $880;\n\n\nRepeat students of Dr Dong $743\n\n(early bird price before 10-10-2026) $594\,\nFAA members $500\,\n\n\n\n30 in class maximum\, first-come\, first-served basis based on payment date \n(Refund policy: After payment\, the center will charge a 10% conference fee\, which is non-refundable.) This was a comprehensive program covering diagnosis\, acupuncture\, Chinese herbs and Tui Na (Chinese Massage). He has practiced Chinese medicine here in Colorado since 1998. His pulse studies began while in a five element school in Jacksonville\, FL. For homework after the first week of school he and his classmates had to feel 24 different peoples’ pulses per week for the entire program. Later he met and studied with Jim Ramholz a Master pulse diagnostician. Greg’s studies will continue forever as he continues practicing and learning. \nHe has continued the tradition by teaching at the at schools and workshops around the world.
